-
Have you tried meditation but struggled to 'settle' (& ended up more frazzled not less)
-
Do you have a meditation practice but want to try some different techniques?
'Find your meditation mojo' can help
A regular meditation practice can be a key component of your calm toolkit - but we live in a world of constant external stimulation. Even when we manage to create some time & space without phones or laptops or tablets or smart watches or - well, you get the picture, there's a lot to distract us - we're so unfamiliar with that that our minds go into overdrive & the external peace is replaced with internal chaos! If this sounds familiar then please know that it's absolutely normal - even for people with a regular meditation practice! None of us can stop the thoughts from appearing, & the idea of meditation isn't to do that - it's to let the thoughts appear & learn to observe them, without being pulled into any internal dialogue. And what most people who meditate regularly have is a STRATEGY that helps them to do that.
Find your meditation mojo explores five simple strategies over five days, in just 15 minutes per day.
We're all different & what helps one person to find calm doesn't necessarily work for the next. The principle of meditation remains the same for all of us - we're learning to be with our thoughts, observing them as they appear, accepting them without judging, & then letting them go without allowing them to take control - but as with so many things the way that we do that varies. Over the course of this short program you'll try five different 'strategies', each of which your meditation style in a short, friendly, easy to follow explanation & demonstration,
In each online session I'll explain what the strategy for the day is, & why it might help, then we'll try it together, & if you join live you'll have the option to ask any uestions after the recording ends, I'll be sticking around for a few minutes each day.
By the end of the course you'll have tried five different styles of meditation,
Day one - Moving meditation
Day two - Mantra meditation
Day three - Counting Breaths
Day four - Gong meditation (EMOM)
Day five - Active observation
If you can't make the live sessions it's not a problem, you'll have access to a recording shortly afterwards, & all of the recordings will be available until XXXXX
You'll even have the option to upgrade to the paid program, which gives you ongoing access to all 5 recordings plus a handy workbook explaining how they work.
