Where are the classes held?

All of our current classes are in the Memorial Institute in Dinnington Village - it's the slightly smaller building to the left of the Village Hall, the address is Main Street, Dinnington, Newcastle NE13 7LD

Do I need to bring anything?

No, we'll provide yoga mats & any equipment needed in class. If you prefer our own mat / block / belt you're very welcome to bring & use these, but there's no need. Just bring yourself, & perhaps a warm jumper / fluffy socks for relaxation!

What should I wear?

Anything that you can comfortably move around in. Leggings & a t-shirt are ideal, & you might want a jumper (& fluffy socks!) for the relaxation section.

Where Can I Park?

There are a few spaces directly in front of the Village Hall, but there's also plenty of nearby on street parking with no restrictions.

Do I have to be barefoot?

Traditionally yoga is done barefoot - but then traditionally it was also done in hot countries & religious buildings! Barefoot is great for grip on your mat, especially in standing poses, but we're not strict about it if you're not comfortable. Socks are welcome, & whilst we wouldn't recommend wearing shoes in class as they'd likely be uncomfortable in some poses & make others more difficult, we wouldn't force you to remove them!

What if I book a class & then can't make it?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your class on our website or in the app where you booked it. So long as you've given us 24 hours' notice we'll add a class credit your account so that you can rebook.
